Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare are all set to host their mehendi ceremony as they celebrate their wedding with friends and family in Udaipur. Ira, Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s daughter, shared a video on Instagram Stories as she got ready for the ceremony, and was dressed in a traditional ensemble.

On January 3, Ira Khan exchanged vows and registered her marriage with longtime boyfriend and fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare in Mumbai. Following this brief ceremony, the couple flew to Udaipur, Rajasthan, for a three-day celebration at the Taj Lake Palace. Ira has been sharing updates from the festivities on Instagram.

The starkid’s official wedding photographer has also shared a video, capturing the grand celebration in Udaipur. The video showed the arrival of guests at Taj Lake Palace via boats. Folk dancers welcomed the guests with a lively performance. The clip showcased Ira and her friends joining the dancers. The festivities also included a qawwali night and a candlelight welcome dinner, which saw the guests singing and laughing together. Aamir Khan is seen in a clip as he greets guests with folded hands.

Ira posted videos from the bridal party where she and Nupur enjoyed a live singing performance by their friend and danced to Jonas Brothers’ classic song “When You Look Me In The Eyes.” The clip shows Ira dressed in a black thigh-high slit dress, while Nupur opted for a black suit for the party. She also shared pictures of her and Nupur posing with her step-brother Azad.

Upcoming events in the celebration itinerary include a pajama party on Monday, followed by the sangeet ceremony on the 9th. The couple will exchange vows once again in a traditional ceremony on the 10th. Post the Udaipur celebrations, a grand wedding reception is scheduled in Mumbai at the NMACC on January 13.
