As The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show returns with a brand-new season, now streaming on Netflix, judge Archana Puran Singh has given fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the revamped set. A vlog posted on her YouTube channel takes viewers on a tour of the set, revealing what goes into making one of India’s most beloved comedy shows. Accompanied by her husband Parmeet Sethi and their sons Aaryamann and Ayushmaan Sethi, Archana explored the new setup, offering fans a rare glimpse into the show’s production process. From the judge’s table to the audience seating area, the vlog covered it all.
One highlight from the tour was a sneak peek at the judge’s seat, now shared once again by Archana Puran Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu, who has made a much-talked-about return to the show after five years.
Archana Puran Singh also gave fans a look inside her vanity van, where she and her family shared light-hearted moments while getting ready for the shoot. She mentioned that the first day on set had tight security, as Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was visiting as the first guest of the season.
The tour extended to the audience area, which has been fitted with a sophisticated multi-camera setup to ensure smooth and dynamic filming.
Viewers were also introduced to the PCR (Production Control Room), where the show is edited live in real time.
Another feature of the revamped set is the guest lounge, designed as a comfortable waiting area for celebrity guests and performers before they go on stage. Nearby, a striking photo wall showcases moments from previous seasons, featuring stars posing with Kapil Sharma-hosted show’s many iconic comic characters.
One of the most fun parts of the vlog was the unboxing of the show’s signature gift hamper. Parmeet and his sons revealed a selection of goodies given to guests, including a power bank, designer glasses, zero-alcohol beverages, stylish water bottles, and a Bluetooth speaker.
While Salman Khan headlined the season opener of Kapil Sharma’s show, the next episode will feature the cast of the upcoming Bollywood film Metro In Dino. Stars such as Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Neena Gupta will be joining Kapil Sharma and his team for what promises to be another entertaining episode.
