IIFA 2023: Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan and Kriti Sanon deliver electrifying performances; Gangubai Kathiawadi and Brahmastra win big

The who’s who of Bollywood attended the IIFA Awards 2023, which took place in Abu Dhabi on May 27. With the dynamic duo of Vicky Kaushal and Abhishek Bachchan as hosts, the awards ceremony was a spectacle, filled with energetic performances by Salman Khan, Kriti Sanon, Nora Fatehi and others.

Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2 and Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra emerged as the biggest winners. Salman took the stage by storm with his impressive dance moves, setting the tone for the night as he grooved to the song ‘Aaj Ki Party.’ However, it was Hrithik Roshan who stole the show. He performed the iconic hook step of ‘Ek Pal Ka Jeena.’ The crowd went berserk after his effortless performance. The actor also won the Best Actor award for Vikram Vedha. Alia Bhatt took home the Best Actress award for Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Jacqueline Fernandez delivered a mesmerising performance and got the loudest cheer from the audience. Rakul, dressed in a stunning vintage outfit, also set the stage on fire with her performance.

In the videos, which are doing the rounds on the internet, Kriti Sanon is seen sharing the stage with The Quick Style dance group. Varun Dhawan, too, delivered an electrifying performance on the song “Nach Punjaban,” earning thunderous cheers from the crowd.

Nora Fatehi enthralled everyone with her dance moves on the song ‘Saki Saki’, adding an extra dose of excitement to the awards night.

Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia Deshmukh, R Madhavan, Mouni Roy, Babil Khan, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Panday, Dia Mirza and Rajkummar Rao among others also attended the ceremony.
