Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan’s Vikram Vedha gets OTT release date

The actor, who plays the anti-hero Vedha in the film, added, “Super excited for viewers to watch Vikram Vedha, not only in Hindi but also in Marathi and Bengali languages and that too without any subscription, absolutely free of cost. It’s an interesting launch as Vikram Vedha will be the first in their launch calendar of 100 titles that will be hosted on the streaming platform. It is perhaps the widest OTT launch for a film, with JioCinema currently witnessing a viewership of 400 million, so that makes the scale of Vikram Vedha’s OTT launch an unprecedented event.”

Vikram Vedha opened to positive reviews in September last year. The Indian Express film critic Shubhra Gupta wrote in her review, “It is the story which is the biggest star. For a movie full of bristling guns and bloody limbs, Vikram Vedha underpins its stylish murder and mayhem with a philosophical question which has no easy answer: is a trigger-happy cop a better man than the criminal who has killed as many men?
