Housefull 5 box office collection day 4: Akshay Kumar finally has a hit on his hands, comedy enters Rs 100 crore club
Housefull 5 box office collection day 4: Akshay Kumar's comedy-drama has entered the Rs 100 crore club, joining Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 and Salman Khan's Sikandar.

Housefull 5 box office collection day 4: Akshay Kumar’s new film opened to mixed reviews last week, but appears to be doing well at the box office. After four days in theatres, the film has joined the Rs 100 crore club domestically. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the star-studded movie collected Rs 13.5 crore on its fourth day of release, Monday, after generating Rs 32.5 crore on Sunday. Housefull 5’s total collection now stands at Rs 101 crore.
The fifth instalment of the blockbuster Housefull franchise was released with two different climaxes, Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B. Both versions are identical, except the ending is different. On June 9, version A had an overall 19.78% Hindi occupancy at the theatres – with morning shows registered at 8.88%, afternoon at 21.54%, evening shows at 22.44%, and night shows standing at 26.24%. As per Sacnilk, the highest theatre occupancy was in the Jaipur region. On the other hand, the theatre occupancy for version B has been at the lower end, at 13.02%.
Housefull 5 has already surpassed the box office collections of Akshay Kumar’s recent film, the patriotic drama Kesari Chapter 2, which earned Rs 92 crore. The film is also expected to beat his action-thriller Sky Force. Previous 2025 releases that hit the Rs 100 crore mark domestically are Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2, Salman Khan’s Sikandar, and Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava. While Housefull 5 seems to be on the right track, the movie supposedly cost over Rs 350 crore to produce, which means that it still has a way to go before it can be seen as successful.
The movie narrates the story of three men called Jolly, who are suspected of murdering a rich businessman on a cruise ship . Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s production banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Housefull 5 features an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Nargis Fakhri, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Riteish Deshmukh, Soundarya Sharma, Fardeen Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Ranjeet, Johny Lever, Chunky Panday, Dino Morea, Shreyas Talpade, Chitrangada Singh, Nikitin Dheer, and Sonam Bajwa.
