Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan pulled off something that was near-impossible when they managed to bring together almost all of the top actors of the film industry in the music video of Om Shanti Om’s ‘Deewangi Deewangi.’ Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Karisma Kapoor, Rekha, Dharmendra among many other were a part of the song. In an earlier interview, Farah Khan shared some anecdote from the making of the song and revealed that Govinda was almost 24-hours late for the shoot.

Talking on the YouTube channel of IFTDA Official, Farah said that the song had its share of hiccups and said, “Govinda came 24 hours late.” She then recalled that day and said, “So we are waiting. It’s his time, his shot is ready. So I called him ‘Chichi, where are you? He said ‘I am shooting in Dharavi.’ I said ‘but we are in Film City’. But then he came the next day.”

In an earlier appearance on Zee Comedy Show, Farah had revealed that through her 30-year career as a choreographer, she has never choreographed Govinda even though they have known each other from childhood. She said that even during the shoot of her OSO song, she asked Govinda to teach his steps to Shah Rukh Khan. “In fact, even when he came to shoot for ‘Om Shanti Om’s ‘Deewangi Deewangi’ song, I didn’t have the courage to choreograph him. Hence, I told Govinda to choreograph Shah Rukh Khan for his portion, telling them that we’ll keep those steps. They did the ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ in the end and it came out so well.”

Farah had shared in the same interview that she always felt that Govinda’s jodi with choreographer Ganesh Acharya was so good that anything she would have done with the actor wouldn’t have looked as good.
