It's game over for Ganapath— A Hero is Born, even before its first Monday. The latest Tiger Shroff actioner failed to register any growth at the box office on Sunday as it minted Rs 2.25 cr, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The Sunday collections came after its dismissive opening of Rs 2.50 cr followed by a poor Saturday of Rs 2.25 cr. The three-day collection of Ganapath stands at Rs 7 cr only. The film was aiming to cash in on the big 5-day Dussehra weekend, but all hopes have been shattered now. By Dussehra, in fact, the film will now hope to at least hit the double-digit figure in its lifetime collection. Ganapath is the second consecutive Tiger Shroff starrer that is heading to be a box office washout after his last release Heropanti 2. But Ganapath's trending is actually his career worst, as even Heropanti 2 had opened at Rs 6.50 cr— which is almost the three-day collection of Ganapath. The film has been directed by Vikas Bahl and also stars Kriti Sanon. With Ganapath, even Kriti Sanon has faced her sixth consecutive box office disappointment after films like Panipat, Bachchhan Paandey, Bhediya, Shehzada and Adipurush. Tiger Shroff will next be seen in two other actioners— Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Akshay Kumar and Singham Again directed by Rohit Shetty. The film will see him join the filmmaker's cop universe after Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
