Fighter box office collection day 13: Hrithik Roshan film nosedives, earnings drop to Rs 3.25 cr on second Tuesday
Fighter box office collection day 13: The Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone-led film might end its run in theatres with a little over Rs 200 crore domestically.

Director Siddharth Anand’s Fighter got a decent opening at the box office (Rs 22.5 crore), but in 13 days, the film hasn’t managed to cross the Rs 200 crore mark domestically. The Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone-led film, the only major release during the Republic Day weekend, received a mixed response from both the audience and the critics, which has reflected in its earnings. It dropped drastically after the first weekend, and the same trend can be observed after the second weekend as well.
Fighter’s box office collection on day 13 (Tuesday) was recorded at Rs 3.25 crore, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. It remained stable at the ticket counters as it earned around the same amount that it had on its second Monday. The total nett domestic collection of the aerial actioner currently stands at Rs 181.75 crore. The Hindi occupancy of the film was 10.19% on Tuesday.
The film is having a better run globally. As per trade expert Manobala Vijayabalan, its worldwide collection after 13 days is Rs 312.85 crore.
Reflecting upon Fighter’s underwhelming box office performance, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on X, “Let’s face it, the outcome of #Dunki as well as #Fighter is underwhelming, despite the merits… The #BO numbers should’ve been much, much better and while the makers will recover the investment thanks to non-theatrical avenues, even book profits, the industry needs to open its eyes to the fact that you need to make films for all-India audience, not restrict it to a handful of metros.”
Last year, Siddharth Anand delivered one of the biggest hits in Hindi cinema history with Shah Rukh Khan-led Pathaan. In comparison to Fighter, the mass actioner, which was also released on January 25, earned Rs 8.55 crore on its 13th day. After 13 days, the film had earned Rs 438.15 crore. It ended its run in the cinema halls with a total collection of Rs 543.09 crore.
URBAN CENTRES VS MASS POCKETS: THE BIG DIVIDE… The #BO response to #Dunki [Dec 2023] and #Fighter [Jan 2024] – both driven by star names, on and off screen – clearly indicates the big divide in film biz today.
The fault *doesn’t* lie with the moviegoing audience, but filmmakers… pic.twitter.com/MMQ8utyTqm

Since Fighter has been flying solo at the ticket counters, the film will face its first real competition on Friday, with the release of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Therefore, reaching the Rs 250 crore mark seems unlikely.
