Fighter Box office collection is soaring high. After a series of dull weekdays, the Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone starrer aerial actioner packed in a surprisingly strong second weekend, giving Fighter a major push and rewriting its BO story. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Fighter box office collection was Rs 28 cr in its second weekend, with collections recording excellent jump from Friday to Saturday and then Sunday. The Siddharth Anand film clocked Rs 5.75 cr as it began the second weekend followed by a huge Saturday of Rs 10.5 cr. What looked like a huge task earlier, now seems likely to be achieved as Fighter gears up towards its journey of crossing Rs 200 cr domestic. Fighter's worldwide gross is nearing Rs 300 cr. The film's good trending over the weekend made Siddharth Anand happy as she shared Fighter's collections and tweeted, "love wins." The film will have competition at the box office from Friday, as Shahid Kapoor-Kriti Sanon's romantic comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Hrithik will next be seen in War 2, where he co-stars with Jr NTR while Deepika would hope to get the big success with Prabhas fronted Kalki 2898 AD, set to release in May.
