Ranbir Kapoor became a father to daughter Raha in November 2022. In an interview with BBC, he expressed his excitement and talked about the new journey of fatherhood. He said, “I am very very happy, excited and nervous also. I am terrified also. But I am very grateful. I am grateful to the point that I have never experienced that emotion in my life. I have experienced different emotions. But this is one emotion that completely fills your heart.”

Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput have two children, daughter Misha and son Zain. Shahid has eagerly embraced fatherhood, considering it a new and wonderful chapter in his life. He said in an interview with iDiva, “Fatherhood is like taking a bath. It is cleansing. It’s to love something so pure and so devoid of baggage that it feels like a new start. I was impatient to get married and have a family.”

Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover embraced the joys of parenthood as they welcomed their baby girl in November of last year. They lovingly named her Devi, marking the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in their lives. Karan had described his feelings after welcoming Devi and he said, “It’s a combination of numerous feelings. All new but somehow familiar…not familiar like I’ve done this before but more like I’ve felt this in my most precious, most beautiful dream, like almost embedded into my DNA. A feeling so intense that I haven’t brought to the external surface of my being because I was afraid that I would explode into fireworks made of joy.”

Saif Ali Khan, a father to four children, values the experience of watching his kids grow. He has two children with Amrita Singh, namely Sara and Ibrahim Ali Khan, and two children with Kareena Kapoor Khan, named Taimur and Jeh Ali Khan. Saif had earlier said in an interview with Elle magazine, “Who wants to work when you have a newborn at home! If you don’t see your children growing up, you’re making a mistake. And I can take time off from work—it’s a privileged position. Rather than follow a 9-to-5 routine, I live like an actor.”

Tusshar Kapoor, a single parent, considers the birth of his son Laksshya through surrogacy in 2016 as a complete joyride. He had said in an interview with indianexpress.com, “It was a complete joyride. I won’t call it a rollercoaster, because there were no downs, only ups— difficult ups, time consuming ups, and tidy ups. It has been a rejuvenating, refreshing, fulfilling, satisfying and experience. That’s the simplest I can put it.”

Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, who tied the knot in 2018, are now proud parents of two children. They have a daughter named Mehr and a son named Guriq, completing their beautiful family. Angad had described the experience and had said in an interview with Pinkvilla,  “It’s the most beautiful experience ever. To have a child is a blessing from the universe and not everybody is blessed to be in this situation. We are really happy. The relationship between a parent and a kid is the most empowering. I always wanted to be a young father as that enables one to grow with the children.”
