Fans slam Payal Rohtagi’s crude comment on Alia Bhatt’s call for privacy: ‘Your sexual act with your husband…’
Actor Alia Bhatt requested news channels and publications to remove pictures of her new home in order to maintain the privacy of her family.

Actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor recently revealed their brand new home to the fans, worth Rs 250 crore. However, videos of the interior of the house started circling the internet, and Alia was quick to call out paparazzi and media for posting the videos and photos online. She politely requested people to respect the family’s privacy and pointed out that all these videos and photos are not ‘content’. However, actor Payal Rohatgi did not agree with Alia’s remarks and hit back at her with some questionable comments.
Rohtagi reposted Alia’s plea on her Instagram stories and said, “That does not come under invasion of privacy. Your sexual act with your husband or another man comes under invasion of privacy. Alia Bhatt sharing the location of your house is not an invasion of privacy. Hope you get basic common sense. Influencers make videos on the street (PUBLIC), and there are houses in the background. Get yourself security and cameras as you can afford them, but kindly use rationale.” She then proceeded to repost an ANI story about lawyers protesting against a certain judgement by the current LG about designated recording areas in police stations and wrote, “They have become Alia Bhatt. No common sense.”
While Alia is yet to reply to these comments, the fans on the internet wasted no time in letting Payal know exactly what they thought. One user on Reddit wrote, “Well, truth be told, most Indians think this is the exact definition of ‘privacy’.” Playing loud videos or talking loudly in public places is normal, and peeking at any celebrity is common, so is ganging up on them like you own them,” while another commented, “People are saying anything these days to stay relevant; she’s such a massive hater.”
The bungalow in question is called Krishna Raj and has been named after Ranbir’s late paternal grandparents Krishna and Raj Kapoor, as they once lived at the same property. It has been under construction since before Alia and Rambir’s wedding in 2022. It is reportedly worth Rs 250 crore, boasting six storeys, and the couple are likely to shift before Diwali this year.
