Exes Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora cross paths at Homebound premiere; share kisses and a hug. Watch

In the viral clip, Arjun is seen speaking to other guests at the premiere, including Neha Dhupia, while Malaika posed for the paparazzi. After entering the venue and spotting Arjun, Malaika walked up to him, and the two shared a warm hug. The clip also shows them having a brief conversation with Homebound director Neeraj Ghaywan.

Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora began dating in 2018. The couple initially kept their relationship away from the public eye but later often shared romantic photos from their getaways and posted birthday wishes for each other on Instagram. However, they parted ways in 2024, with Arjun confirming the breakup during an interaction. He had said, “Nahi abhi single hoon. Relax karo (No, I’m single now. Relax).”

Malaika also spoke about Arjun’s public declaration of their breakup in another interview with Times of India. She said, “I am very private person, and there are certain aspects of my life which I don’t want to elaborate much.” During the interaction, Malaika admitted that 2024 had been a tough year for her as she had also lost her stepfather the same year. Arjun was one of the first people to arrive at her parents’ home after his passing, as Malaika was out of town.

Homebound tells the story of two friends from marginalised communities who are determined to beat the odds and build a better life for themselves. The film stars Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. Recently, Homebound was also announced as India’s official entry for the 2026 Academy Awards in the Best International Feature category.
