Emraan Hashmi’s mother Maherahh Hashmi was admitted at a city hospital in Mumbai where she breathed her last. She was suffering from cancer.

Actor Emraan Hashmi’s mother Maherahh Hashmi passed away on March 11 afternoon. She was admitted at a city hospital in Mumbai where she breathed her last. She was suffering from cancer.

Confirming the news to Indian Express.com, Emraan’s uncle and producer Mukesh Bhatt said, “She passed away this afternoon. She had cancer.”

Emraan, who was reportedly out-of-town, is currently on his way back to Mumbai.

RIP Maherahh Hashmi.
