‘Elated’ Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa confirm pregnancy after 15 years of togetherness

In 2022, Rajkummar was asked about his plans of having a child during an interaction with Shehnaaz Gill on her YouTube channel. When she asked, “Toh aap kab baby kar rahe ho?” (So when will you have a baby?).” Rajkummar laughed and replied, “Main kab baby kar raha hoon? Yeh toh mere ghar wale bhi nahi puchte.” (When will I have a kid? My folks also don’t ask me this). He added, “To be honest, I have not thought about it. I just feel like I am still a small kid.” When Shehnaaz said, “Acha theek hai jab mann kare tab kar lena. (Do it when you want).” Rajkummar said, “If I have a baby girl, I want her to be like you. Sweet, simple, sundar, and talented.”

In the past few years, there have been many rumours about the couple’s pregnancy and in a chat with Galatta India in 2024, Patralekhaa responded to these rumours as she shared, “How many times has it happened that I was having bloating, but people feel that I am pregnant. Now who will explain to those people that there are some days in the month when one does not feel good. Earlier I used to be troubled by these things but then I stopped reading all the comments of people. Now I don’t care about all these things. I post photos but don’t read comments.”

Rajkummar and Patralekhaa got married in 2021 in the presence of their family and friends. The two started dating in 2010 when they were both trying to make it in Bollywood.
