The horror comedy film revolves around a boy named Banku and his parents, who move into their new home, the Nath Villa. Here, Banku meets the unfriendly ghost of the former owner. Not only does Banku befriend him but also helps him make his final journey.

The 73-year-old star is elated that it’s “raining years of his films”.

“It’s raining years of my films these days …Now…Eight years of ‘Bhoothnath’… what a delightful film!” Amitabh tweeted on Sunday night.

Amitabh’s films “Piku” completed one year and “Khuda Gawah” turned 28 on May 8.

On the silver screen, the National Award winner will be seen in Ribhu Dasgupta’s upcoming thriller “TE3N”. It also stars Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

The film is slated to release on June 10.

The cine-icon will also be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s film “Pink”.
