Despite his achievements, filmmaker Karan Johar is often subject to trolling and criticism for the projects he helms or decides to back as a producer. Amid all this, Karan chooses to focus on what’s good and recently posted an adorable video with his twins Yash and Roohi, where the kids prove to be more brutal than any critic or troll.

In the video posted by the filmmaker, he asks the kids about not getting any gifts for his birthday. While Roohi defended herself, showing off an origami flower which she gave to him, Yash only had hugs and kisses to offer. Karan asks him, “Next year, what are you going to give me, Yash?” to which his son replies, “I think you need new clothes and a new wardrobe.” Roohi adds to this, “We think you should stop taking selfies.” Just when Karan thought the onslaught was over, Yash went on and said, “Firstly, you should stop doing that face,” referring to Karan’s signature pout.

A defeated Karan is heard saying between the requests, “Oh god! Why do I need anyone else?” Karan completed this thought in the caption for the video and wrote, “Can you believe the in house trolls?”

Karan Johar recently visited the 78th Cannes International Film Festival. He was there with the entire team of his production venture Homebound. Directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, the cast of the film includes Ishaan Khatter, Janhvi Kapoor and Vishal Jhetwa.

Homebound received an amazing reception in the form of a 9-minute long standing ovation, as all members of the group were brought to tears and displayed pure emotion.

Karan Johar has teamed up with Somen Mishra, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, and most notably Martin Scorsese to back Homebound, and it certainly impressed the audience over at Cannes.
