Diljit Dosanjh admits he can’t bargain, has never done everyday tasks: ‘I’ve never booked a hotel or cab in my life’

When the singer was asked what he meant by ‘other things,’ he explained, “I can’t bargain, and people will always tell me, ‘You leave it, we will do that.’ Agar koi puchega ki kitne paise loge (When somebody asks about my fees), I won’t be able to bargain. I can’t plan these things. I can’t book Uber. I don’t have the app, and I don’t even know how to do it. I have never booked a hotel in my life. I have never booked a flight. I can’t do these small day-to-day tasks, and I have never done them in my life.”

When asked if this is because of his current living status or if he never did such work growing up, he said, “I used to do everything that my family would ask me to do. Whatever my elder sister would ask me to do, I would do that. She is the head of the family. She would ask me to fetch her suits, and I would do whatever she asked.”

Diljit Dosanjh recently created history by becoming the first Punjabi artist to feature on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The singer is currently on his Dil-luminati tour in North America and promoted his tour on The Tonight Show. He also performed his hits “GOAT” and “Born To Shine” on the talk show.

The actor is currently awaiting the release of his Punjabi film Jatt & Juliet 3.
