Dil-luminati comes to India: Over 1 lakh pre-sales tickets sold for Diljit Dosanjh’s India tour; next round to happen on September 12

After completing his Europe tour of countries like France, UK, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, and Italy, actor-musician Diljit Dosanjh is bringing his Dil-luminati tour to India. It is going to be one hectic trip for the musician as he kicks off his Europe Tour on September 19 at Paris, and will hop across various venues before finishing it off at Milan on October 15. In between the India tour, he will also be travelling to Abu Dhabi on November 9 for the Middle East leg of Dil-Luminati.

India Tour Dates and Venues 

Diljit is set to kickstart the India leg of Dil-Luminati in Delhi (October 26). His 10-city and 2-month tour will be held in Hyderabad (November 15), Ahmedabad (November 17), Lucknow (November 22), Pune (November 24), Kolkata (November 30), Bangalore (December 6), Indore (December 8), Chandigarh (December 14), and Guwahati (December 29)

Where to buy tickets for Dil-Luminati India tour 

While the pre-sales tickets for HDFC Bank Pixel Cardholders were opened on September 10, almost 1 lakh of them got sold out within 15 minutes of opening the bookings. The cheapest ticket was priced at Rs 1499 for the Silver Area. The Golden Area was sold for Rs 3999, Rs 4999, and Rs 5999 in different phases. The other areas were the fan pits, which were sold at Rs 9999 and Rs 12999. These include the ones where the Early Bird Discount was provided for the ones who managed to make the cut. 

The General ticket sales will begin on Thursday at 1 pm. The tickets will be made available on Zomato LIVE.

Diljit’s statement about the tour

In a statement, Diljit Dosanjh said, “Bringing the Dil-Luminati Tour to India is a dream come true. After the incredible journey abroad, performing in my homeland feels like coming full circle. The love and energy I’ve felt from fans around the world have been extraordinary, but there’s something uniquely special about performing here, where it all began. India, get ready, because Punjabi ghar aa gaye oye! We’re going to make history together – I can promise you a night you’ll never forget!”

He also took to social media to ask his fans to let him know if there are cities that aren’t there on the list, and promised something would be worked out for those fans too.

Dil-Luminati and global recognition for Diljit

Dil-Luminati is the tour that has put Diljit Dosanjh firmly on the global map of musicians. After travelling extensively in the United States of America and Canada, he is set to embark on the Europe tour before travelling back to India to regale his fans. The Canada tour saw him meet and greet Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. This tour has also allowed him to join hands with other international artistes like the Grammy-nominated Camilo for the song, “Palpita”. Even before the tour, he was featured at the Times Square in New York City. And in 2023, he performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. His appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon also grabbed headlines this year.
