The actresses, who are often pitted against each other in the race to Numero Uno, are working together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani', revolving around the relationship between a Maratha general, played by Ranveer Singh and a Muslim princess. While Deepika plays the role of the Muslim princess and Bajirao's second wife, Mastani, Priyanka portrays his first wife Kashibai. The two were often spotted laughing and chatting away like old friends and didn't behave like rivals. The camaraderie between the two dates back to when they shot for Karan Johar's talk show 'Koffee With Karan'. The episode was a laugh riot and the actresses seemed really comfortable with each other.
