In 2022, Deepika was one of the jury members at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. On the film front, Deepika was last seen in Siddharth Anand's Pathaan playing a Pakistani spy. Her outfit in the song Besharam Rang caused a lot of controversy but regardless, the film emerged as the highest earning Hindi film ever. Her upcoming films include Project K with Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan, Fighter with Hrithik Roshan. She had previously announced her upcoming Hollywood romcom, which she will be co-producing under her home banner. In 2022, Deepika had also shared that the filming of her previously announced film, based on the character of Draupadi, will commence this year.
