Deepika Padukone made her first public appearance after daughter Dua’s birth on Friday night at Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in Bengaluru. The actor seemed to be having a great time with the GOAT singer on stage. Videos from the event show Depeika joining Diljit on stage as he sang “Lover”. In one of the videos, she also teaches him a few words in Kannada, which got a big cheer from the audience.

After clips from the concert created a buzz on social media, Diljit himself took to his Instagram account and shared a collaborative heartwarming video of Deepika attending his concert. He wrote, “Queen @deepikapadukone On DIL-LUMINATI TOUR IN BENGALURU. Year 24”

Welcoming the Chennai Express actor on the stage, the singer said, “Kitna payara inhone kaam kiya hai. Humne inko bade parde par dekha hai. Kabhi socha na tha ki itni paas se dekhne ko milenge. Itne pyaare aur apne dum pe jinhone jagah banai hai Bollywood mein (She has done such lovely work. I’ve seen her on the big screen. I never thought I would be able to see her from so close. Such lovely work and she made her own mark in Bollywood, all by herself).”

He added, “Itna accha, payara kaam kiya hai. Aap sab ko faqr hona chahiye, hum sabko faqr hai. Bohut bohut pyaar. Aap humare show pe aayi bohut bohut shukriya ma’am (You have done such amazing and lovely work. All of us should be proud, and all of us are proud of you. Much love. You came to our show; thanks a lot for that). Thank you.”

Before being invited on stage, Deepika was spotted dancing to his song Lover in the crowd. In one of the video clips, Deepika was also seen teaching a sentence in Kannada to Diljit, which he repeated amid cheers from the fans. Before leaving the stage, she bowed towards Diljit and waved at the audience. Fans were thrilled to see her at the concert.
