Deepika Padukone envisioned her ‘happy family’ with three kids, Ranveer Singh said he would ‘rather have a daughter’: ‘They’re so much nicer, kinder..’

Deepika always had her priorities on point. Even before tying the knot with Ranveer, the actor was very keen on starting a family. At the Loreal event, Deepika said, “The one thing I have got to do before I die is definitely have lots of babies. That’s what I want to do. I know the importance of family. I mean it really complete me as a person. I want lots of children. I look at babies picture and I am like…I love kids.”

Ranveer has also expressed his desire to start a family on many occasions. He said on the show ‘The Big Picture,’ “Deepika was such a cute baby. I see her baby photos every day and tell her, ‘Give me one baby like this one, my life will be set.’” Ranveer desired a beautiful home where his wife, kids, and family play joyfully, with everyone being happy and healthy.

The Ram Leela actor had also revealed if he wants a girl or a boy. In a chat with Bollywood Bubble, Ranveer said, “I would much rather have a daughter. I think they’re so much nicer, kinder, more intelligent, more involved.  I much prefer the feminine energy.”

On Koffee With Karan, Deepika and Ranveer showed their wedding video for the first time. Ranveer also shared stories about Deepika’s parents. He proposed in 2015, facing the challenge of breaking the news to her family. They went to Bangalore from the Maldives to meet Deepika’s parents, but timing was off, and her mother wasn’t pleased. Eventually, they tied the knot in 2018 at Lake Como in Italy.
