Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Piku’ diaries: Baba ko constipation kahaan hai?

While the fun off-screen videos on the 'Piku' sets have increased our expectations manifold, the recently released dialogue promo does little to help.

It won’t be an under statement if we say that we are gradually falling in love with Shoojit Sircar’s yet-to-release directorial ‘Piku’ starring dimpled beauty Deepika Padukone, megastar Amitabh Bachchan and talented actor Irrfan Khan.

While the fun off-screen videos on the movie sets have increased our expectations manifold, the recently released dialogue promo does little to help. Watch the promo here:

The promo shows a worried Amitabh Bachchan, who plays Piku’s father in the movie, asking her whether his medical reports were normal. Now, one would expect that the normal reports would make him happy, but he is sad.

Moushumi Chatterjee, who plays Piku’s aunt, then questions him whether he is sure that he has constipation in the belly or somewhere else, that is – the head.

Not only does the promo depict the cute relationship the father-daughter share, but also signifies the perils of old age, where one expects to get reasons for their not feeling well, not realising that the old age is the only problem.

Amitabh Bachchan proves yet again why he is the Big B of the Indian film industry and Deepika is ethereal and suits the perfect daughter bill to the tee.

This is one movie we are waiting for.
