Last night, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor turned heads as they arrived hand-in-hand at the grand premiere of The Ba***ds of Bollywood, Aryan Khan’s much-anticipated debut series. Dressed to impress and perfectly coordinated, the couple made a stylish statement on the red carpet. But while their glam appearance was enough to set social media buzzing, what truly caught everyone’s attention was Deepika Padukone’s comment on Alia’s Instagram post.

Alia had taken to Instagram to share photos of her from the evening, captioning it: “The good, the bads and the glam @gucci ⭐ All set for the #TheBadsOfBollywood! @aryan @redchilliesent @netflix_in.”

The post quickly garnered love from friends, colleagues, and fans alike. Among the many comments, Deepika Padukone’s “stunning” stood out — especially given the frequent public curiosity surrounding the dynamic between the two leading ladies. For the occasion, Alia wore a rare archival piece, a Tom Ford design from Gucci’s 1996 collection, exuding old-school glamour. Ranbir complemented her in a crisp white shirt, tailored white blazer, and classic black trousers. The two posed briefly for the paparazzi before making their way into the venue. The premiere itself was a star-studded affair. Aryan Khan had the full support of his family, with Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, and siblings Suhana and AbRam all in attendance. Celebrities such as Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Vicky Kaushal, Ananya Panday, Bhumi Pednekar, Shanaya Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and members of the Ambani family also graced the event, making it one of the most talked-about nights in B-town.

On the work front, Alia is gearing up for the release of her next film, Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail. The film also stars Sharvari and Bobby Deol and is the seventh installment in YRF’s spy universe, slated to release on December 25, 2025. Additionally, she is filming Love and War, a Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone and her fans were dealt a disappointment earlier today. Vyjayanthi Movies, the production house behind the hit film Kalki 2898 AD and its sequel, announced that Deepika would not be returning as Sumathi for the next installment. The statement, posted on the studio’s official social media channels, cited scheduling conflicts and stated that someone who could “devote more time” to the project would be a better fit. This marks the second high-profile film Deepika has exited following the controversy surrounding Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
