Dangal song Haanikaarak Bapu: Aamir Khan is a tough as nails dad, watch video

In Dangal, Aamir Khan plays the role of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who taught wrestling to his two daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari.

Aamir Khan is a tough actor. No wonder his policy of one film a year makes him finish every year at the box office with a bang. And as 2016 is ready to wrap up, so is his upcoming film Dangal pacing fast towards its release date. And the film’s first song ‘Haanikaarak Bapu’ will only show why Aamir is tough in any role, be it even that of a father. The song shows his ruthless side as he shapes wrestling careers of his two daughters. It might just give you a shock to even think how difficult a father like him can be in real life.

Dangal is the upcoming sports biopic based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat played by Aamir Khan. Mahavir Phogat taught wrestling to his two daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari, shaping them into champions. While Geeta is India’s first female wrestler to win gold at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, her sister Babita won silver. Dangal traces the life of the father-daughters and their struggle against stereotypes as they enter a profession mostly ruled by men.

The first song of Dangal, ‘Haanikaarak Bapu’ shows Aamir training his two teenage daughters before introducing them to the wrestling ring. It shows their immense hardwork despite the fact that the two young girls long to spend a normal teenager life.

Dangal has debutants actors Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra playing Geeta and Babita respectively. The film also stars Sakshi Tanwar and Aparshakti Khurrana and is slated to open on Christmas.
