Cosmetic surgeon Dr Vikram Singh Rathore recently revealed the types of surgeries and procedures that Bollywood celebrities prefer to maintain a youthful and sharp appearance. He shared that female celebrities tend to be more concerned about their looks than their male counterparts and often undergo various surgeries after giving birth to their children.

Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Vikram shared that celebrities demand a range of procedures, including surgeries to remove fat from specific areas, as well as surgical procedures that reshape the nose and eyelids.

He said, “The focus of my female clients is on their looks. They are very conscious about it and they want to correct their blemishes and sagging on face, along with correcting their double chin. They also go for liposuction and body contouring, they want to get their whole body in shape. They also demand breast upliftment surgery or breast reduction surgery, along with they also ask for rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty. They do all this to look younger.”

Vikram also spoke about the growing popularity of the ‘mommy makeover,’ a set of surgeries women undergo after childbirth to reverse the physical effects of pregnancy.

He said, “These days there is a mommy makeover. A lot of changes happen to a woman’s body after pregnancy and then actors think that their career is over and they go in depression. So, to help them overcome that, there is a surgery called mommy makeover, which involves breast upliftment, tummy tuck and liposuction surgeries.”

He also shared that many women experience post-pregnancy depression due to the changes in their bodies, and these surgeries help them regain confidence. Sharing an example of one of his clients, he said, “I will give you an example of my 32-year-old patient, who went through the mommy makeover. She just had twins. She was very depressed when she entered my clinic. She felt suicidal. I reassured that after the surgeries, she will look exactly like she did before the pregnancy and two weeks after the surgery, she sent me a big bouquet to thank me.”

Many actors like Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and others have openly spoken about cosmetic surgeries. In an earlier interaction with Curly Tales, Khushi Kapoor accepted getting cosmetic surgery done and said, “I don’t think it’s such a big deal. The main issue is that people are scared that they will get hate if they come out and admit it. I just feel like there’s going to be hate either way. People think that the term ‘plastic’ is the biggest insult you can give someone, but I don’t think it’s bad if someone gets work done and stuff like that.”
