Housefull 4 box office collection Day 7: Akshay Kumar starrer maintains a solid hold

Housefull 4 makers shared, “Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios’ reincarnation comedy Housefull 4 continues it’s smooth run at the box office even on a working Wednesday, without any holiday.”

The Diwali release of the year is the fourth film in the Housefull franchise that started in 2010.

While Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh have appeared in all the films of the franchise, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda are the new additions to the cast.

The film got mixed reviews from the audience and critics.

The Indian Express’ critic Shubhra Gupta gave the comedy flick zero stars in her review. 

She wrote, “So Akshay, who is here for the fourth time round, plays a bald fellow, whose shining pate is the favourite landing spot for pigeon s–t. Riteish, who has been around for as long, is a `nachaniya’. Chunky Pandey is back again too, babbling about Akhri pasta and `rasta’. Bobby Deol shows up to basically because someone wanted him to remind us of Dharmendra in a skirt.”
