Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has finished shooting for R. Balakrishnan’s directorial ‘Shamitabh’ and is ready to take up the next project.

“Shamitabh’ hits the last day for me … after a hard day on location several miles away from the city, they cheer for me as I leave … to continue the next work and schedule on hand,” he posted on his blog srbachchan.tumblr.com.

The movie, also starring Dhanush, marks the Bollywood debut of southern superstar actor Kamal Haasan’s daughter Akshara.
