Bhaag Milkha Bhaag collects 32 crore in opening weekend
On its opening day,<i>Bhaag Milkha Bhaag</i> had collected Rs. 8.5 crores across 1,500 screens in the country.
Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s biopic,Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is going strong and raking in the moolah at the Box Office.
The film,featuring Farhan Akhtar as the Flying Sikh released on Friday (July 12),has got mixed reviews but here as well the movie is doing great on the word of mouth.
Indian Express’ critic Shubhra Gupta in her review had also stressed on the fact that though the story is undoubtedly wondrously inspiring,the director’s portrayal of it seems forced and hard selling.
A paid preview of the film on Thursday minted Rs. 1.5 crore while,on its opening day,Bhaag Milkha Bhaag had collected Rs. 8.5 crores across 1,500 screens in the country.
Flim critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the figures on Twitter and said “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is going from strength to strength with each passing day. Sat better than Fri everywhere. Superb!”
