Bullets firing, overturned tanks, flying jeeps and two stars appearing all guns blazing amid explosions. Sounds like a perfect action movie? Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, featuring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, is your answer if you’re looking for an adrenaline rush on-screen. To treat fans and heighten curiosity around the film, the makers on Friday unveiled a BTS video of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, offering a glimpse into the explosions, stunts and everything that went into making this high-octane movie.
The two-minute-long behind-the-scenes video of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, released by Pooja Entertainment, gave the audience a sneak-peek into the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial’s larger-than-life action sequences. “It’s time for an extraordinary action experience that pushes boundaries! Watch the exclusive behind-the-scenes now. #BadeMiyanChoteMiyanOnEid2024,” Ali captioned the video.
The video opens with a war scene with trucks and soldiers on the ground, fighter jets soaring overhead and vehicles flying in the air. Ali narrates, “People ask me about this crazy fascination with big action films. I don’t have an answer; maybe it’s an instinct… an instinct to feel scared, to achieve the impossible,” while emphasising the film’s real, raw, and rugged approach.

In the BTS video, Ali Abbas Zafar, who has also directed Tiger Zinda Hai, can be heard saying, “We are going to go up in the sky to shoot one of the most deadly scenes ever shot,” even as the sounds of bullets fill the air and vehicles begin to defy gravity at his command of ‘3…2…1…action!’ The director assures that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is going to be a treat for action lovers.
Akshay Kumar says when he heard the script, his only goal was to design action sequences that look real and believable. He reminisces, “While shooting, there were explosions all around us, but we enjoyed every bit of it. The audience is going to enjoy Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.” Tiger, echoing his sentiments, adds, “The sky’s the limit in this genre, and with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, we’ve almost scratched the surface.”
The commitment to authenticity extends beyond the script, stresses co-producer Vasu Bhagnani. “Ali said from the beginning, minimal VFX, everything real. I was worried about how could one achieve realism while doing an action film on such a huge magnitude. But seeing it now, it’s incredible!” he adds.
Jackky Bhagnani, who also co-produced the film, says, “We have two of the biggest stars; action should be explosive, a true spectacle.”
Last month, the makers dropped the film’s teaser, which opens with a masked figure forewarning of imminent danger to India. Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, who play soldiers in the film, are determined to save India. “Dil se soldier, dimaag se shaitaan hain hum. Bachke rehna hum se, Hindustan hain hum,” they proclaim in the teaser. Their enemy is a masked villain, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran. This movie is all set to hit theaters on Eid.
