Baaghi 4 box office collection Day 5: The theatres are currently overflowing with options for audiences, with Baaghi 4, Lokah Chapter-1, The Conjuring: Last Rites, and The Bengal Files all fighting for attention. As it completes a week of release, Baaghi 4 has dragged itself to the Rs 40 crore mark. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, it earned Rs 4 crore on its fifth day of release.

Even though its predecessor’s theatrical run was cut short due to the lockdown, Baaghi 3 actually crossed the Rs 40 crore mark in less time. Its total net earnings reached Rs 96.5 crore in just 14 days. Considering the fact that cinema attendance was dwindling at the time, the film delivered a decent performance. The first film of the franchise made Rs 76 crore, while the second instalment was the most successful, with an India net collection of Rs 165.5 crore.

Baaghi 4 has a lot of competition cutting into its ticket sales. Lokah Chapter 1 has almost crossed Rs 200 crore worldwide, with its India net collection currently sitting at Rs 88.4 crore. The Conjuring 4’s India net collection has already crossed the Rs 60 crore mark; the movie is proving to be Baaghi 4’s biggest competitor, having been released on the same day. Vivek Agnihotri’s The Bengal Files is still struggling to make a mark and has only earned Rs 9 crore so far. Director A Harsha certainly has his work cut out for him if he wants to take over The Conjuring or Lokah Chapter 1. It’s important to note that Tiger’s last film was the ensemble actioner Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone; the film made Rs 247 crore in India. However, Tiger’s previous three releases, Heropanti 2, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and Ganapath, all bombed.

The occupancy rates for Baaghi 4 averaged out at 21.71% on day five, with the morning shows and afternoon shows filling up 9.15% and 18.38% of the seats, respectively. The evening and night shows performed slightly better and managed rates of 22.59% and 36.72%. Directed by A Harsha, the cast of the film includes Tiger, Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa, Harmaaz Sandhu, Shreyas Talpade, Pawan Shankar, and Upendra Limaye.
