Internet was abuzz with rumours of Ayushmann Khurrana's death in a skiing accident.

If death rumours are any measure of an actor’s success,then Ayushmann Khurrana has certainly arrived. The internet was abuzz on Wednesday evening with rumours of Ayushmann Khurrana’s death in a skiing accident. Ayushmann and his family were not amused.

Says a close friend of the actor,”Ayushmann was shooting when the unsavory rumour broke out. He was flooded with anxious inquiries. Initially,Ayushmann laughed off the rumours. But it soon became too much to handle.”

This is not the first hoax death report about an Indian celebrity. Recently,similar reports on the ‘death’ of Amitabh Bachchan and Lata Mangeshkar were also circulated.

Reacting to these mischievous rumours Lataji says,”Such rumours only add to the life of the person who is killed by rumor-mongers. I truly wonder who spreads these strange rumours! In this era of quick and bulk communication,anyone can send a vicious SMS about anyone and spark off an ugly rumor. Do such people realize how disturbed near and dear ones get by these rumours?”
