Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia, who is married to SP leader Abu Azmi’s son Farhan, said she is overwhelmed with the support she is receiving from her fans after taking a stance against her father-in-law, who recently created a furore amongst the public with his comment on rape.

Soon after Abu Azmi’s comments on rape victims, Ayesha Takia tweeted, ‘We surely do not share this mindset. It’s disrespectful to women. If these statements are true then its sad.” She also added, “If wot I’m reading about my father-in-law’s statements are true then me and Farhan are deeply embarrassed and ashamed.
