Archana Puran Singh took her fans inside the premiere of the Netflix film Nadaaniyan in her latest vlog. Starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor, the romantic drama was released on Netflix on Friday. Archana’s vlog began with her having her plaster removed, after breaking her arm some weeks ago. She had documented the accident and her stint in hospital as well. Following the trip to her doctor, she got ready for the premiere, which she attended with her husband Parmeet Sethi, and their sons, Aryaman and Ayushman.

The family met with several Bollywood celebrities at the premiere. Archana said that she is friends with the film’s director Shauna Gautam’s mother, and has seen Shauna as a baby. She also met producer Karan Johar, with whom she discussed the cult impact of her character, Ms Braganza, who makes a return in Nadaaniyan. Remarking at Karan’s physical transformation, Archana said, “Budhaape mein jawaani aagayi hai.”

On the way to their seat, they came across Javed Akhtar, who chatted with them for a while. Archana scored an invitation to his Khandala farmhouse. The family eventually made its way to the seats, where one of Archana’s sons joked about pirating the movie and releasing on the internet. “I’ll give dad a 20% cut,” he said, pulling his phone out as Archana jokingly scolded him.

After the film ended, Archana interacted with several other celebrities. She congratulated Sara Ali Khan for Ibrahim’s debut, and said that he’s a lovely boy. “I also told Saif how wonderful he is,” she said, as Sara thanked her. She then met Boney Kapoor, and congratulated him and Arjun Kapoor for Khushi’s performance. With Khushi, she discussed her emotional scenes in the second half of the film. “The second half is much, much better,” she said. The family posed for one final photo in front of the poster, and departed from the venue.
