Animal pre-teaser: Ranbir Kapoor axes men single-handedly in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s action-thriller

Ranbir’s epic transformation and intense portrayal in the teaser impressed the viewers. One of them commented, “Fantastic fabulous and outstanding performance sir. mass action entertainer.” Another added, “When a director like Sandeep vanga & an actor like Ranbir Kapoor collaborates…a masterpiece is made…🔥💯🔥.” A fan of Ranbir added, “Ranbir Kapoor will surely win every possible awards for Animal.” 

Earlier, the makers had released a poster of Animal which featured Ranbir. He was seen holding an axe under his arm while lighting a cigarette as blood dripped from his shoulder. As per reports, Ranbir will play a gangster in the movie. A few leaked videos and photos from the sets of the film also gave a sneak peek into Ranbir’s character. In one of the leaked videos, Ranbir sported a clean-shaven look and donned a uniform.

In an interview with Good Times, Ranbir Kapoor had revealed his reaction after listening to the narration of Animal. He said, “I had to go to my bathroom and look at myself in the mirror, and I got scared. I’ve never felt scared of a story of a character.”

The film’s producer Murad Khetani had earlier said that Animal has “larger-than-life” visuals. “It is a challenging film. But we have a great team. Sandeep has written the story and he narrated it to Ranbir and Anil Kapoor, they liked it and agreed to came on board. It has action, emotion, heroism, and larger-than-life visuals. We have our director and actor Rashmika from (south region) and we will release it there,” he told PTI.

Ranbir was last seen in the romantic drama Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, opposite actor Shraddha Kapoor. Helmed by Luv Ranjan, the film was a box-office hit.
