Angry Rajesh Khanna threw Rishi Kapoor’s ring after he proposed to Dimple Kapadia: ‘He took away my heroine and my ring’

In response, Rishi shared, “I probably disliked him because he took away my heroine. He married her when I was just starting out in the industry. Otherwise, there was no ill feeling. I worked with him in several films, and I even directed him later on. But you’re right. The ring had a peace sign on it. It wasn’t an expensive ring, but that doesn’t matter—the love matters.” When asked why he allowed Dimple to take the ring given to him by his girlfriend, Rishi humorously added, “Dimple flicked it from me.” When pressed about whether this incident contributed to his dislike for Rajesh Khanna, he admitted, “Of course it did. He took away my ring, my heroine—so, obviously, there were enough reasons.”
