Newlyweds Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have arrived in Jamnagar, Gujarat, following their three-day-long, lavish star-studded Mumbai wedding. The couple, who tied the knot on July 12, was greeted with overwhelming enthusiasm and hospitality by the locals. The newlyweds were met with an outpouring of love and affection in Jamnagar. The couple was greeted with a royal welcome as they arrived in town on Wednesday, walking on a stunning rose carpet. Throngs of people gathered on the streets to celebrate the couple’s arrival and their union.

Viral videos showcase the warm hospitality extended to the newlywed couple, with one clip highlighting a group of women in colourful sarees performing a traditional aarti for Radhika, showering her with rose petals. Radiating happiness, the newlyweds made a stylish statement in matching pink outfits. Radhika looked elegant in a pink suit, and Anant complemented her in a pink kurta paired with a traditional jacket. Radhika and Anant both looked delighted as they greeted the crowd with folded hands.

In another clip, the couple beamed as they waved to the cheering crowd from their car. A separate video showcases the grand welcome awaiting them, with a road adorned with rose petals and a rhythmic drumbeat filling the air.

Jamnagar holds a special place in Anant and Radhika’s hearts.In March 2024, the pre-wedding functions were held in Jamnagar, where Anant’s grandmother, Kokilaben Ambani. It is the town where his grandfather Dhirubhai Ambani and father Mukesh Ambani first established their business.

During one of the pre-wedding events, Radhika revealed that both she and Anant had grown up in Jamnagar. She fondly expressed, “This is where we spent our childhood, became friends, fell in love, and nurtured our relationship. Jamnagar holds our fondest memories, deepest secrets, loudest laughs, and the happiest times we’ve shared together as a family.”

Anant and Radhika tied the knot in a grand ceremony on Friday. The wedding was attended by numerous entertainment industry luminaries. Among the attendees were TV star Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe Kardashian, John Cena, Bollywood’s Shah Rukh Khan and Rajinikanth, American singer-songwriter Nick Jonas, and Bollywood icons Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra.
