Amrita Singh buys Rs 18 crore apartment in Juhu

According to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards, veteran actor Amrita Singh has acquired a residential apartment in Juhu, Mumbai, for Rs. 18 crore.

Veteran actor Amrita Singh has acquired a residential apartment in Juhu, Mumbai, for Rs 18 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards. Along with Amrita, Bollywood stars such as Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn-Kajol, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan and Shakti Kapoor also own apartments in Juhu. There is no confirmation about whether she will move into her new house or not.

Her apartment is located in Peninsula building in Nutan Laxmi Cooperative Housing Society Limited, which is a ready-to-move-in residential project. It spans a built-up area of 252.04 sq. m. The transaction was registered in February 2025. Earlier, there were reports that suggested the mother-daughter duo Sara Ali Khan and Amrita Singh purchased two commercial office spaces in Andheri West, Mumbai, for a total of Rs 22.26 crore last year.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Amrita Singh gained prominence in Indian cinema in the 1980s with her debut in Betaab (1983), which became a massive success. She then went on to play acclaimed roles in films like Mard, Naam, Chameli Ki Shaadi, and Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. After an acting hiatus, she made a comeback with Kalyug and Shootout at Lokhandwala. She was last seen in Badla (2019) and has been away from the big screen since a while now.
