Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda joins IIM-Ahmedabad: ‘Dreams do come true…’

Sharing the news on her social media pages, Navya wrote, “Dreams do come true. The next 2 years… with the best people & faculty! Blended Post Graduate Programme (BPGP) Class of 2026.”

In an Instagram story, she thanked the teacher for coaching her for the entrance exams. Sharing a photo of her cutting the celebratory cake in the coaching institute, Navya wrote, “Thank you to IMS MBA Preparation for coaching me for the entrance exams. This is Prasad sir, who played the biggest hand in coaching and preparing me to crack the CAT/ICT entrance exams. One of the best teachers I have ever had the honour of learning from.”

The course that was launched earlier this year is a blended (hybrid) programme that combines on-campus, in-person sessions and live interactive online sessions. The programme is meant for a seasoned cohort of participants with a minimum experience of three years. This course is designed to allow students who are also working professionals and entrepreneurs to balance their work life and educational pursuits.

Family and friends of Navya were effusive in their praise for her pursuit of professional development, and shared their best wishes on her new endeavour. While her mother Shweta wrote, “You make me so proud baby…” the Bollywood brigade of star kids — Suhana Khan, Ananya Panday, and Shanaya Kapoor — expressed their love through a collection of emojis. Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, actors Karishma Kapoor and Sonali Bendre were among the others who congratulated Navya for following her dreams.
