Amitabh Bachchan turns 81: Ajay Devgn, Vicky Kaushal, Sidharth Malhotra wish ‘the one and only’ Big B

On the other hand, young stars Vicky Kaushal and Sidharth Malhotra posted photos with the thespian on their Instagram stories. Vicky posted a photo from his recent visit to Kaun Banega Crorepati 15. “Happy birthday to the one and only… @amitabhbachchan sir,” he wrote.

Sidharth also posted a photo from an old event where Big B holds him lovingly as they pose for the camera. He wrote, “Happy birthday @amitabhbachchan sir! Thank you for your legacy and encouragement everyday. Big love and respect.”

Tonight’s episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 will see the team celebrating his birthday. In a promo shared by Sony TV, Big B was deeply moved by the surprises planned for him and was spotted searching for a tissue as tears welled up in his eyes.

In the video, he thanked the audience and KBC for the special celebration. He said, “Aur kitna rulayenge aap, ab bas kardo. Mai sabh ko tissue deta hu, aaj meri baari aagai (How much more will you make me cry? I used to give everyone tissue, now I need one).” The actor also said,  “Iss manch me humara jo janamdin manaya jata hai woh sabse uttam hai (My birthdays celebrated on this platform are the best).”

In the short promo, audiences were spotted wearing hoodies featuring Amitabh’s image. The show featured musical performances and celebrities extending their heartfelt wishes to Big B. Actors such as Vidya Balan, Vicky Kaushal, Chiranjeevi, and Boman Irani, among others, conveyed their special messages for Amitabh. According to reports, former KBC winners, Babi Tawde, Himani Bundela and Jaskaran Singh, will also be a part of the celebration.
