Thugs of Hindostan starring Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif is all set to release on November 8. Before the release, the makers have released a lullaby sung by Amitabh Bachchan. The song highlights the father-daughter relationship that Khudabaksh (Bachchan) and Zafira (Shaikh) share in the film. Khudabaksh is a father figure for Zafira as he is the one who has nurtured her and brought her up. The two share a loving bond and director Vijay Krishna Acharya wanted to highlight the trust they have had in each other since the beginning through a lullaby. After shooting the scene, Amitabh Bachchan was so moved that he decided to sing it himself. I was most excited to sing this lullaby because it is not every day that you get to sing one. The lyrics are beautiful and the composition highlights the emotional journey of these two characters who have an incredible father-daughter relationship. I have been telling Adi to put this in the album. I’m sure he will do it because it’s turned out to be a beautiful song.” The makers have released the video where Bachchan recorded the song in the studio. With the film releasing in two days, we will get to watch the music video in the theaters itself. The lullaby has been composed by Ajay-Atul and Amitabh Bhattacharya has penned the lyrics.
