Superstar Amitabh Bachchan attended the 70th birthday celebrations of Jaipur's Maharani Padmini Devi at the City Palace on September 29. Amitabh Bachchan arrived by a private plane left for Jodhpur on September 30 morning. The actor was spotted with his actress wife Jaya Bachchan at the Jodhpur airport. The actor's visit is kept away from media. Padmani Devi was born to erstwhile Maharaja Rajendra Prakash and Maharani Indira Devi of Sirmur in Hamachal Pradesh as the princess of Sirmur. She got married to Brigadier (retired) Bhawani Singh of the Jaipur royal family in 1966. The last titular Maharaja of Jaipur,Brigadier Singh died after in 2011 after a prolonged illness.
