Amitabh Bachchan, 82, is still actively entertaining his fans with his several film appearances as well as his quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati. However, in his recent social media post, the actor spoke about the reality of ageing. Sharing a picture of himself from the sets of the quiz show, which showed the actor’s staff helping him with his makeup and hair, the actor shared a quirky caption. He wrote, “Try everything you want to, nothing will change this face.”
He elaborated his social media caption in his daily blog, where he wrote, “Fingers and hands that are concerned about fixing my face and hair… a bother… its not going to make any difference, but they do it…” He added, “And the reason being that the camera lenses are such now that they pick up every grain of your skin hair etc.., and it looks bad for a broadcast… Or so they say while holding up the game time of the show…”
A few months ago, Amitabh Bachchan had taken to his blog to reveal why he continues to work even at this age. He wrote, “They keep asking me on set of work… the reason for me to be working… and I have no answers for this, except it’s another job opportunity for me… what else could possibly be the reason… others have their own assessment of occasions and conditions, and often like to exercise their model to be prime… wear my shoes, and find out… maybe you are right… and maybe not… you have the liberty to have your conclusions and I have the liberty of my work.”
Amitabh Bachchan stunned his fans with his fierce Ashwatthama role in Nag Aswin’s Kalki: 2898 AD, also starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan, among others. The actor also played the role of a cop in Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan. Amitabh Bachchan is yet to announce his new project.
