Alia Bhatt forgets her lines in Bengali during Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani Kolkata promotions, Ranveer Singh has a hilarious reaction

As the release date of their much-awaited film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani draws near, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh have been busy touring various cities for promotional events. Recently, the dynamic duo visited Kolkata to interact with their fans and promote the film. However, the event turned into a cute and humorous moment when Alia forgot her lines in Bengali which she rehearsed before getting on stage.

In a heartwarming video shared by Alia on her Instagram, the actor is seen diligently rehearsing her lines in Bengali backstage. She had learned phrases like “Tomader Shobai ke Onek dhonnobad ekhane ashar jonyo (Thank you for being here),” and “Dhindhora khub bhalo lagbe (You all will really like Dhindhora),” to impress her fans in Kolkata. However, when she stepped on stage, she momentarily blanked on the lines. Ranveer, who was by her side, playfully poked fun at the situation and said, “So cute, yaar. Tu homework karke ayi thi. Exam ke time sab bhool gayi (You did your homework but forgot everything during the exam).”

Dressed in a stunning red and pink chiffon sari, Alia looked radiant during the event. She later took to Instagram to share the video showcasing her cute, hilarious moment in Kolkata.

In Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Alia portrays a Bengali character. The film’s recently released song, ‘Dhindhora Baje Re,’ showcases an extravagant Durga Puja setting. The song also shows Alia and Ranveer giving a high-octane dance performance.

Directed by Karan Johar, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including veteran actors Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan in pivotal roles. The film will release on July 28.
