Akshay posted a picture of himself, Tiger and other cast members covered in mud as they took a dip in Jordan’s famous Dead Sea. He captioned it as, “Tired of the same old memes, here’s some new mud-terial This is how we celebrated the end of this memorable schedule of #BadeMiyanChoteMiyan at the Dead Sea in Jordan. The duo has been shooting for the film, which will release on Eid 2024. Besides Jordan, the film has been shot in different locations, including Scotland, London, India, and the UAE.

The film’s teaser released in January and showed Akshay and Tiger fighting against India’s enemy, a masked man. Both the actors play the role of soldiers in the film as the narrator in the teaser says, “Dil se soldier, dimaag se shaitaan hain hum. Bachke rehna hum se, Hindustan hain hum.”

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film has the same title as 1998 movie starring Govinda and Amitabh Bachchan. The film is backed by a team of producers, including Jacky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, Ali Abbas Zafar, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and Sarwar Mohammed.

In a statement, Vashu Bhagnani had clarified that this film has no connection with the first film. He said, “It has nothing to do with the old film but there’s a reason why it’s called Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. There is a very interesting twist in the film, which may act as an ode to the old Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.”
