Total Dhamaal and De De Pyaar De postponed, Ajay Devgn confirms

Ajay tweeted: “December date with you looks challenging, but still keeping my February date! Due to extensive VFX work, Total Dhamaal will now release on February 22 and De De Pyaar De moves to April 26,” he wrote.

Total Dhamaal stars Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh and Jaaved Jaaferi. The film will be jointly produced by Inder Kumar along with Ashok Thakeria and Ajay Devgn. The second film was Double Dhamaal. It is directed by Inder Kumar. Madhuri will also reunite with actor Anil Kapoor in this film after a gap of several years.

A few months back, the cast of Total Dhamaal shot for the remixed version of hit track “Paise Yeh Paisa”, from Rishi Kapoor starrer Karz. The song will feature Jaaved Jaaferi, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Ajay Devgn, Indra Kumar, Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Mishra and Pitobash, who had a blast learning moves for the number.

Director Indra Kumar had cited the lyrics of the song as one of the primary reasons for recreating the track.

On the other hand, De De Pyaar De is a romantic comedy co-produced by Luv Ranjan and directed by Akiv Ali. It also features Rakul Preet Singh.
