Aaradhya Bachchan, the apple of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan’s eyes, celebrated her sixth birthday on Thursday. While her grandfather Amitabh Bachchan wrote a lovely note for his adorable granddaughter, father Abhishek wished his ‘little princess’ on social media by sharing a lovely picture of hers. Thee Bachchans kept the celebrations simple with a dinner with just close friends and family in attendance.

The party had Amitabh Bachchan, Aaradhya’s maternal grandmom Vrinda Rai, Abhishek and Aishwarya in attendance. Aaradhya who is quite a poser wore a beautiful pink frock and it was a treat to see the adorable one in her princess avatar. Mommy Aishwarya kept it casual in her blue dress and daddy Abhishek and grandpa Amitabh looked uber cool in their sweatshirts. Missing from the family photos were Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek’s sister Shweta Nanda and her daughter Navya Navelli.

Aaradhya was born in 2011, four years after Aishwarya and Abhishek tied the knot in 2007. Being the only child of her parents, Aardhya has got all the attention and her several public appearances with them have made her a favourite of the paparazzi. The various clicks of the little one prove that a fashionista is in the making.

However, Amitabh, earlier in the day, wrote on his blog, “The eve of the birth of the little one .. the blessing of her in our home and in our presence .. and to be in celebration for her 6th .. When she shall tell us how much she has grown .. its actually 6 years but its 60 for most of us .. !!! hahahaa .. !!” He also shared some photos of Aaradhya and thanked everyone for wishing Aarashya on her special day. He wrote, “More T 2712 – To them all that have wished with greetings for Aaradhya .. my gratitude and thanks ..🙏🙏 .. your wishes and blessings shall always be cherished with love ..😀.”
