Asked about her new projects, Swara told reporters at a fashion event here: “I’m wrapping up the last schedule of Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, which stars Salman Khan and will be out on Diwali this year.

“After that, my next release is a very beautiful film called ‘Nil Bate Sannata’, which is directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari and Aanand L. Rai is presenting it, so I’m very excited,” added the actress, who has worked with Rai in films like “Tanu Weds Manu Returns” and “Raanjhanaa”.

Swara also shared that she is impressed with renowned filmmakers backing small-budget films.

“So, if you look at the way Karan Johar helped in the release of ‘The Lunchbox’ or Aamir Khan supporting ‘Peepli Live’ and Kiran Rao helping ‘Ship Of Theseus’… It’s really nice to see that the industry works as a team when it comes to supporting a good film. So, I feel it’s a good time for all kinds of films,” said the actress.

“It’s definitely more difficult for an indie filmmaker to release the film. But things are changing and the nice thing about the whole setup is that more established producers and directors are lending their support,” she added.
