Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ takes its first shot in presence of Phogat family

Aamir Khan has finally begun shooting for his film, 'Dangal' in Ludhiana, Punjab. Based on the life of former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, Dangal' took its first shot on Monday (September 21).

After months of intense preparation, Aamir Khan has finally begun shooting for his film, ‘Dangal’ in Ludhiana, Punjab. Based on the life of former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, Dangal’ took its first shot on Monday (September 21).

The entire Phogat family was present to witness the first shot along with the cast and crew of ‘Dangal’. Even producer Siddharth Roy Kapur made it for the auspicious day. “Aamir had a long chat with the wrestler and his family members. Siddharth Roy Kapur, the producer of the movie, also joined the team for the first shot,” says a source from the film’s unit.

Aamir Khan has put on 35 kilos to look the part of wrestler Mahavir Phogat.
