Aamir Khan, Rekha touch Dharmendra’s feet at Loveyapa screening; Irfan Pathan thanks ‘Aamir bhai’ for making his wedding anniversary memorable

Aamir Khan has been busy played the role of a doting dad in real life as his son Junaid Khan is all set for the release of his first theatrical film Loveyapa. Aamir has been hosting several celebrities for the screening of his son Junaid’s film. Last night, Aamir hosted yet another screening where veteran actors Dharmendra and Rekha watched the film. Aamir’s daughter Ira Khan was also present.

Several photos and videos from the night is shared on paparazzi accounts. Rekha was seen posing with Aamir Khan, daughter Ira and her husband Nupur Shikhare as she arrived to see Junaid Khan’s film. Rekha was seen touching Rajkumar Santoshi’s feet at the event.

After the film screening, Dharmendra was seen with Rekha and Aamir. Aamir and Rekha were seen touching Dharmendra’s feet to take his blessings.

Earlier Aamir hosted another screening which too had several celebrities including cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar with his wife, Anjali Tendulkar, political leader Raj Thackeray, and many others.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt also made a stylish outing and were seen posing with Aamir. Khushi Kapoor’s rumoured boyfriend Vedang Raina to Kajol, Irfan Pathan, his wife Safa, Zaheer Khan and his actor wife Sagarika Ghatge among others were also seen at the night.

Post the screening, Aamir seemingly surprised Irfan Pathan and his wife Safa Baig by celebrating their wedding anniversary. A video from the celebration, which took place at Aamir’s house, has been shared online by the former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan himself. The video shows Irfan cutting a cake with Safa, with Aamir Khan standing besides them. The video also showed Aamir Khan’s ex-wife Kiran Rao, Sachin Tendulkar, his wife Anjali, director Ashutosh Gowariker his wife Sunita Gowariker, Zaheer Khan and his actor wife Sagarika Ghatge among others.

Irfan Pathan wrote, “There were ppl in this room I use to admire from far but now call them friends thank you for making our wedding anniversary memorable Aamir bhai.”

Junaid Khan was earlier seen in 2024 Netflix film Maharaj where he played the role of Karsandas Mulji, a journalist who exposes a religious leader’s misconduct in the 1860s

Directed by Advait Chandan, Loveyapa marks theatrical debut of Junaid Khan alongside Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor. The film also stars Ashutosh Rana, Tanvika Parlikar, and Kiku Sharda. Loveyapa is slated to hit theaters on February 7, 2025.
